Hello family and friends. This is Mary Kate. This is my third year doing the 30 hour famine, to raise money for childhood hunger with World Vision. My friends and I will be participating in a lock-in and over night activities where we will learn about hunger in the world.
I'm trying to beat my previous years in which I have raised $800.

I'm going without food for 30 hours to raise money so others can eat — because it's not right that nearly 8,000 kids die every day from hunger-related causes. The good news?
Just $35 will help feed and care for a child for a month!
My goal is to raise at least $500 (but really to beat my brother) — enough to feed and care for a child for just over a year. All you have to do is click the orange "support me" button above to give your gift! Your gift is tax-deductible.
Your donation helps World Vision fight hunger by:
Teaching parents improved farming techniques.
Equipping families to grow crops and raise healthier livestock.
Improving access to clean water for nutritious harvests.
Helping children get basic medical care (because hunger is linked to nearly half of all preventable child deaths).
Supporting malnutrition centers when there's a food crisis.
Providing emergency food supplies when there's a disaster.
