Hey Guys!
I'm taking on a pretty cool challenge and I need your help. Every day, nearly 7,000 children die because of hunger-related causes. I want to do something about it!

1 in every 9 people in the world do not have enough to eat.

98% of these people live in developing countries. Some live at the mercy of hunger crises like the one that struck East Africa. Others have been forced from their homes, scraping by with that they can find. Still more find themselves caught in a cylce of poverty and hunger, neither of which they can escape.

But when we come together, there's hope. Hunger has decreased by 20% in the past 25 years, thanks to people like you. It may be retreating to some of the hardest paces, but it's still on the run. So let's keep on chasing.

So I'm doing World Vision's 30 Hour Famine. I will not eat for 30 hours from Friday, January 2nd to Saturday, January 3rd and I need your help to raise money to help provide food and care for kids in need around the world.

$40 feeds and cares for a child for a month! That's just over $1 per day! Will you donate and feed a child for 1 or 2 months?

How the Famine works:
1. Students LEARN the truth about global hunger and discover what God wants us all to do about it.
2. We RAISE FUNDS to fight hunger (that's where YOU come in).
3. We grow closer to God and each other as we FAST FOR 30 HOURS.
4. LIVES ARE CHANGED because of the money we've raised!

Thanks!
