ADVOCATE

Use your voice for change. Advocate for a better world.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. – Proverbs 31:8-9

Advocacy is an important part of how our government works, and how humanitarian aid is funded. Regardless of your age, your voice counts! You have the power to tell elected officials that you think everyone should have clean water and that our government should not provide military aid to countries that use child soldiers. They have the power to make decisions that affect change and you have the power to influence their decisions.

Not old enough to vote yet? Your voice still counts! Don’t let a little voter registration card stop you from contacting your representative – you are still their constituent and they represent you whether you are able to vote or not!
